The Phoenix Soul:
RADIANT (issue 53)

Phoenix, have you lost your shine?

In the midst of life's muck and muddle, it's easy to feel dulled. Drained. Worn thin. Lesser-than.

Kindred, you deserve to feel truly radiant. Alive. Lit up with passion and promise. Yes, in all your messy, perfectly-imperfect glory.

Together, we can rediscover our glow. It's time to ditch whatever dulls our soul-shine. It's time we practice self-care/soul-care (with no shame). It's time we love ourselves, exactly as we are. Let's spark our flame together. Let's rise and shine.

I gave myself permission to be. I lightly kissed the scars. I reminded myself how deserving I am. I whispered prayers to my rightful existence.

The Phoenix Soul: Radiant

What would your most radiant life look like? True radiance, phoenix soul style, means embracing both our light and our dark (and every beam between). True radiance means caring for ourselves with the same tenderhearted compassion, dignity, respect, and kindness that we so readily offer our beloveds. True radiance means knowing our Source (whatever that looks like to us) and plugging into it, as often as we need (with no shame or excuses). True radiance means shining from your core-the divine spark within you, buried beneath it all.

What do you need to be whole and free, to brighten your soul-shine? Find out with us in The Phoenix Soul: RADIANT.

i return to my self, and my light strengthens.

I can light a signal fire. I can turn, turn, turn, back to the glow, to my birthright of Light.

For too long, I’ve been passive in my radiance. It’s time to become an active participant in my own well-being.

to the colors of poems
making snow-angels under your skin,
to the miracle of joy and grief
holding hands, swimming together
through your bruises, harvesting

dare to shine light in your hidden places: look closer. if you find neglect, ask: what is the root? why do I resist or de-prioritize my care (body & soul)? stand firm in your undeniable worth.
