We hold vigil.

The darkest night will end.

We remember Light will find us again, no matter how heavy our hearts or how bright our spirit: the truth of this expands to hold both gently, with Mother-love. There is room for our gutwrenching grief AND our wild joy.

we believe
because the Light,
she has always found us
before . . .

and she will
again.

We breathe in relief,
the sunkissed reassurance,
the glow of healing-will-come.

We lean into Love, Love, Love,
in whatever form she takes:
from unexpected laughter
to the candle-spark
to the crooked smile of our beloved
to the dreams where we meet our lost ones again
(if only for a day)

to the death of all that came before
to the birth of all that will be,
all that is,
that is,
that is.
